Your Family Needs You

The next time you wake up on Sunday morning with any variation of these thoughts in your head --

Why do I need church?
I pray on my own.
The people there are so hypocritical anyway.

-- please remember the words in 1 Thessalonians 5:11: "So encourage each other and build each other up, just as you are already doing."

You may feel as if your spirit does not need to be lifted by The Word, but someone else at church might need to be lifted by YOUR presence in hearing The Word.

Your role in the faith community is as important as your pastor, priest, minister, vicar, etc.

Don't think for one moment that God won't use your light to brighten the spiritual path of someone stumbling in the darkness.

His ways are funny like that.
